Art Poster Discontinuation, And PETA Collaboration
I'll be discontinuing my art poster offer as of Sunday, May the 3rd, which will be the last day you can order a poster of the Obama Victory Unicorn painting, which also comes with a hand drawn Faithmouse cartoon. Thanks to everyone who has purchased a poster in the past.
The following weekend, in collaboration with PETA, I'll be offering my first limited edition giclée print series. Peta will be showing this painting at their official protest at the Kentucky Derby and will link to the print on their blog. A portion of the proceeds of the print sales will go to this very worthwhile organization.

Fan and collector Beckie came up with a nifty idea for a nude portrait; do it wet! I first attempted to paint this on the opposite side of the glass but forgot that I use water-soluble oils.

An 8 by 10 painting of Barack Obama and his unicorn Penelope. Penelope's horn is the famous Knoxville Tennessee Sunsphere, once featured in a Simpson's cartoon and originally constructed for the 1982 World's Fair. I'll be happy to add custom lettering to the banner for the winning bidder.

Obama Defuses The North Korean Rocket, Pre
Barack Obama with the help of his unicorn Penelope defuse the North Korean rocket, in progress. I'll attach a flashlight to the end of Penelope's horn to help Obama see as he pulls the wires out of the rocket.
I have this, the next Gawker painting, and one other item nearly completed. I've sort of been waiting to feel better to work (diverticulitis) but the pharmacy gave me the wrong presciption in the wrong amount, and to compensate my doctor gave me an additional week's double-dose of antibiotics which not only make me sick, but hallucinate. So, let's paint.
The good news is, I've lost enough weight to pull into the equivalent recommended weight range for my height. It's sweet to be healthy!

An auction site in China called http://www.dhgate.com was allowing a seller to copy and sell a number of my previously concluded Ebay auctions. After two months and a number of emails from me, they've ended the current auctions before the closing date (item 'no longer available!') but they haven't pulled the actual auction pages, which merits a half-thank-you. But you know, it's better than no reaction at all.

The Painter Of Pancake Houses
An 8 by 10 inch oil painting I call 'The Painter Of Pancake Houses.' Inspired by the artistic stylings of 'The Painter Of Light' Thomas Kincaid.
The sun is a fried egg. The walkway is made of sausage patties, and the driveway to the maple syrup lake is composed of pats of butter.

Begun; a painting of a cottage made out of pancakes and the light is pancakes. The sun is a fried egg, emanating pancakes of light. The trees will be stacks of green pancakes balanced on forks. A syrupy lake will be seen the right, with a shimmering fried egg reflection.
Anyway, off to a good start. Should have this completed later this afternoon.
