Sir Alex Ferguson Unicorn Art

By request; a painting of Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson riding on top of a unicorn that looks somewhat like El Beatle George Best while a dolphin jumps out of the turf and under a rainbow in the background. Two new 8 by 10 acrylic portraits of President Barack Obama.
The first portrait uses a range of delicate color variations for the skin tones, plus metallic gold and copper acrylic. Prevalently, it fails to depict the President with a pancake on top of his head-

Some might argue that there indeed could be pancake on top the President's head in both of these painting but out of sight, but I will tell you as the artist that there isn't.

A new painting of the beautiful Lady Kate Middleton nude and with topless pancake breasts.

This painting is executed in black and white acrylic on a large stretched canvas, and with a generous amount of silver iridescence.

This painting would make for a great surprise baby shower present for Lady K from an admiring fan.

4 New Male Nude Art Paintings

Four new male nudes, painted with an intentionally limited color palette which included a few metallics but no black. The darker areas are from mixing blue with copper and also some red, and then repainting over that mixture when the paint is dryer to create darker tones.  As with all of my male nudes, I am the model.  The side view painting below is from a photo which I originally posted to my Flickr nude artwork gallery and which Buzzfeed then included in an article regarding my Obama paintings a few months later-

What I think is the best painting from the last group of 4 nudes is still sitting there on Ebay, I suppose because the pose is strong.  But, I do think it's one of my best paintings this year-

The Pancake Master, Portrait Painting & Signed Book

Inspired by the Paul Thomas Anderson film The Master, I've decided to part with a family heirloom I've had stashed away in the back of the kitchen pantry for decades-a painting by an unknown artist of The Pancake Master. The painting is accompanied by a copy of the classic self-help tombe The Pancake Master, and is personally inscribed by The Pancake Master himself. The inscription reads 'Be The Pancake' and is made out to someone named 'Freddie.'



The portrait is a very handsomely sized 24 by 30 inch stretched canvas. It seems to be painted in acrylic.



A copy of the thrift store classic we are all so familiar with...Yes YOU!  THE PANCAKE MASTER.  The Secret Science of Controlling One's Own Breakfast.



The book itself is in excellent shape. The cover seems to be custom printed on a durable sheet of canvas.  The back cover sports a photo of the painting!



How these items fell into my hands I cannot say.



This large canvas painting of The Master is stapled in the back and painted black around the edge, so it may be displayed effectively as-is, although I would think it would benefit tremendously from a frame which communicated boardroom and hungry.

Four New Male Nude Paintings

After a break of a month or so I've started to post new self-nudes to Ebay but this time at a set price; I posted one a few days ago and it sold immediately, so if that continues to happen I'll continue to add newer paintings. I keep a gallery of past male nude art on my flickr.

Which reminds me; I have an invitation from Art Of Man magazine for an interview and article from more than a year ago, but I always have the feeling that better work is coming so I hesitate to pull anything together. I guess that could go on indefinitely.

I've placed a second version of my 'Prince Harry Nude Billiards Royal Blush Wine Label' painting as a three day auction on Ebay-



This painting is very similar to the first painting, with the same body placement and color theme but with many small variations.  Higher chroma and a more manly physique to Harry than in the first painting.

I've posted a print to Ebay of my recent painting of Ayn Rand admiring GOP Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan's abdominal pancakes. The background to this painting references the dust jacket to the first edition of Atlas Shrugged-

 

The print is an 8 by 10 on canvas, is additionally hand-signed, is packaged in an individual folder in a secure mailer, and includes a signed autograph of the artist and a complimentary refrigerator magnet featuring a previous painting.
