Bill Nye Climate Changed Pancake

By request-a painting of Bill Nye The Science Guy with a climate changed pancake on top of his head.

This is a variation on part of my Bill Nye With A Pancake On Top Of His Head Vs Creationist Ken Ham With Smiling Bacon And Eggs painting from two years ago.  I printed just the Bill Nye section of the painting on a sheet of canvas, and then directly painted over the image with acrylic to create the new image.

I have no will to start a larger project, but I have a number of 11 by 14 inch canvases which I may doodle an image upon.  They aren't too expensive, so perhaps this would be a good habit to develop.

Still need to paint a monkey pancake.

Tall Pancake Landscape

I painted this as a gift for a follower on Flickr who had purchased a smaller painting of a pancake with a beard.  Perhaps if I mail this by noon today he'll see the painting(s) by Saturday. 

Taylor Swift Pancakes

A portrait of Taylor Swift with pancakes on top of her head. Painted last weekend.

The stumps in the background are of pop stars past or becoming.  I may revise one stump to demonstrate that it is in the process of forming.

The double pancakes represent Taylor's two album of the year Grammy awards.

It seems as if I am cleaning my coffee maker every two weeks now.

I very much doubt that Hitler had a micropenis. 

My ideal weight is supposed to be 165 pounds so I would like to lose at least another three pounds by Saturday.  That would put me only five pounds above my goal weight.

I worked on this painting for about an hour at a McDonalds in Inver Grove Heights. 

I would like to start a painting called Infant Of Pancakes for Lent, but I need a photo of an infant to look at.  That, or an infant.

Agent Mulder David Duchovny X-Files Pancake (reworked)

This is a reworking of a painting from a few years ago of actor David Duchovny as Agent Fox Mulder of the US science fiction television program 'The X-Files' with a pancake on top of his head. The show is currently enjoying a renewal.

The repainting was done directly over a canvas print of the original file. I added darker blacks over the background, refined some detail on the face and largely overhauled the pancake.

Thanks to the art forum at Reddit which last week posted my original Bernie Sanders pancake portrait. The imgur link has been viewed more than a million times.

I have another Bernie Iowa themed painting which I started before the above and which I may have completed later this evening.

Katamari Damacy Gun Collector Obama

This painting was recently purchased by a professor of computer science at Carnegie Mellon, who wondered if it was in response to President Obama's recent intention of employ executive action, independent of the will of Congress, to enact tougher gun registration.  It wasn't.  I had actually been thinking about this image for the past six years, and it was a request by Politico Magazine for the use of a number of images of past Obama paintings for possible use in their current 'The Obama Issue' which made me think of it.
