Chris Ward (my wife, harpist and vocalist, and the original Faithmouse) will be performing this weekend at the Night Lights Benefit Banquet for the Missing Grace Foundation at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Plymouth, Minnesota.
The 2007 event features "Night Lights" A Night of Hope and Renewal Benefit Banquet on Saturday evening, April 28th with keynote by US Senator Norm Coleman. Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas will emcee the event. “This year we are letting the community know we need their support and involvement in order to meet the ever-growing needs and demands for care and resources that Missing GRACE Foundation offers to grieving, infertile and adoptive families in Minnesota and across the nation," said Founder of Missing GRACE, Candy McVicar, “Missing GRACE provides support and care in many MN hospitals at the time of a pregnancy or infant loss by offering labor support, a beautiful, private photo session with the baby and family, free or discounted burial, cremation and funeral service resources, follow up care with monthly and online support groups and home visits.”
I have a cartoon in progress to help promote the event. I'll have the first draft online later today, followed by a completed toon sometime this evening.
Thanks to Paul at Artis Divina 'Where Creatives and Artists find ways to follow God' for including the Johnny Hart Memorial cartoon in his The Passing of Johnny Hart post.
