Diane's Susan Boyle Painting, And A Poem
An oil portrait of Susan Boyle commissioned by Diane.
By Diane, a poem-
ONCE UPON A TIME
IN THE LAND OF OOH-B-PAN
THERE LIVED A GIFTED PAINTER
BY THE NAME OF OOH-B-DAN
HE PAINTED IN THE MORNING
AND HE PAINTED IN THE NIGHT
HE PAINTED HEADS WITH PANCAKES
IT WAS A FEARSOME SIGHT
HE PAINTED MANY PANCAKES
AND DORAYAKI TOO
IT MAKES YOUR MOUTH JUST WATER
TO SEE WHAT HE CAN DO
HE MADE SO MANY PANCAKES
AND SOME WITH RABBIT POO
HE PAINTED GIFTED SUSAN
BARACK OBAMA TOO
OH LET US KEEP ON WATCHING
TO SEE WHAT MORE HE'LL DO
WILL IT BE SUSAN SINGING
OR A NAKED BODY'S VIEW
PERHAPS BARACK OBAMA
PERHAPS HIS WIFE MICHELLE
PERHAPS HE'LL PAINT THEIR CHILDREN
ONLY TIME WILL TELL
BUT ONE THINGS SURE FOR CERTAIN
THE NEXT ONE'S SURE TO TEASE
AND TITILLATE THE PALETTE
THE NEXT ONE'S SURE TO PLEASE
THE MOST DECERNING BIDDER
FOR COLORS TINT AND HUE
I KNOW THAT I'LL BE BIDDING
ON A WINNER, WOULDN'T YOU?
