Political Cartoons / Hillary Clinton 'Kitchen' Campaign Video

Political Cartoons (click image above for second larger size) featuring Hillary Clinton running for the 'toughest job in the world.' As if. Inspired by the Clinton campaign 'Kitchen' video, which just irked me. Non-partisan perhaps, but still irkable.



The video features footage of U.S. soldiers, all of whom are doing a job tougher than the one Hillary wants. You can't drive out of your own neighborhood without passing 1oo families working harder and with a lot more to lose than Hill. Glamour, power, influence, free breakfast and big painted portraits...a responsible job with great perks, but not the toughest.

Can she even operate a kitchen?

FaithMouse Megathread - Something Awful

Currently one of the most popular threads on the Internet, and one of a number to which I regularly post off-site. Not for children or die-hard conservatives. You'll have to journey through the entire thread to follow the current Taint/Barack Obama masturbation story-arc.

I've pretty much ended the cartoon as an ideological soapbox. It exists now as a purely artistic effort, and has exited the self-aggrandizing echo chamber of the politically anal, especially those organizations and individuals which use Christianity as a cheap and disposable power tool.

Congratulations to Alan Keyes for exiting the Republican Party. Although it dallianced briefly with supporting Ron Paul in the current election, The Constitution Party should make for a nice home for Mr. Keyes. If they screw you as well, Alan-keep in mind that the best political affiliation is probably none.

Pope Benedict XVI Visits America Cartoons

An obvious papal impersonator, drawn in the 'sketchbook' style of underground cartoonist R. Crumb.



The real pope, held hostage in a broom closet and about to be freed by a helpful spider monkey. Drawn in the style of Dick Tracy creator Chester Gould. 'Al Pacino' is a small restaurant just a few blocks away from the entrance to the Vatican museum.

I've been busily filling the world with beautiful Ebay paintings and haven't spent much time blogging, although I've posted a number of requests to fan boards. The above image is from a recent small oil which is currently available for the humble sum of one dollar.

Political nonpartisanship continues, although I don't mind taking general nods towards the great themes. Life is much nicer this way.

Otherwise I have a flu. That and the snow expected tomorrow for the Twin Cities metro area will hopefully make for a final reenactment of Winter. Begone!

I finished this painting at about 2 A.M. Monday. You may recognize the facial pose from an old studio pubicity picture; the rifle is my own addition. The original painting looks more impressive than the pic; hard to get a good image from a still-wet painting under anything else than natural light.

La Oración De La Más Pequeña

Just a thought based upon a recent series of popular videos featuring a Chilean midget transvestite known only as 'La Pequeña' who, while dancing badly and speaking in a husky voice, portrays both Amy Winehouse and Hillary Clinton.

My first impression when watching these videos was 'now there's a person who needs Christ!' But then I realized that it was arrogant of me to believe he doesn't know Christ already, in his own way.

I think we all have a natural predilection to project ourselves in some way upon Christ, to bring Him to 'our own size.'

Saint Padre Pio, Capuchin confessor and stigmatic of Pietrelcina. I drew this almost entirely while riding as a passenger in a car. I use what looks like a graphic device to allude to his ability to bilocate and other mystic abilities.


St. Anne with child Mary. After a photo of a statue of which I'm afraid I don't know the history. Looks French to me. All lines emanate from St. Anne's womb.

I've collected a few dozen new links and post acknowledgements, but I've been so busy building my Ebay gallery that its been difficult keeping up with anything but.

Robocop with breasts represents our post-911 DOHS society; reanimated from our economically decimated national Detroit, an impersonal conglomeration of technological and human elements. When we scroll down the page we are confronted finally with the seductive aspect of our super-creation. Do we consider these unreal, artificial appearing breasts to be attractive? Robocop seems to be trying much too hard to convince us that he/she/it is more human than machine. Behind our highly desired security apparatus, 9-11 happens without end. Our defender does not look at the tragedy but at us. The promised sequel does not happen; the original feature is remarketed over and over again.
